About the tutor
Born in Jakarta, Rais Maulana is a Communication Science graduate whose passions for cars, motorsport, and photography have shaped his career. With several years of hands-on experience in motorsport photography, Rais has developed a keen eye for capturing the drama, speed, and emotion of racing both on and off the track.
In 2025, his talent was recognized internationally when one of his images won the prestigious Duke of Richmond Auto Photography Award — a testament to his ability to blend technical precision with artistic storytelling.
As your guide, Rais will share not only his expertise in trackside shooting but also his insights into building compelling visual narratives from the energy of motorsport. His mentorship ensures participants will walk away with both unforgettable images and sharpened skills.
