Leica Camera AG marks a momentous milestone in 2025 with the centenary of the Leica I, the groundbreaking 35mm camera that revolutionised the world of photography. First introduced at the Leipzig Spring Fair in 1925, the Leica I redefined photography as an accessible and dynamic art form, laying the foundation for genres such as reportage, documentary, street as well as artistic photography.

Under the theme "100 Years of Leica: Witness to a Century", Leica Camera is celebrating this anniversary with a series of global cultural events.
