This photography exhibition invites viewers into a world shaped by light, mood, and the poetry of everyday moments. Launched alongside the Leica Noctilux-M 35 f/1.2 ASPH., the exhibition brings together five photographers, each sharing their own story through the Noctilux-M lens series.

Through the subtle play of light and shadow, ordinary scenes are transformed into something quietly cinematic. Familiar moments gain depth and emotion, rendered with the signature Noctilux bokeh and a visual richness that draws the viewer in.

Step into a space where everyday moments feel just a little more special—where light softens, time slows, and stories unfold naturally. This exhibition celebrates how the Noctilux captures life as it’s truly lived, turning fleeting moments into images that linger long after.

Captured with the Leica M11 Monochrom, this evocative exhibition features 21 portraits of everyday Singaporeans. UTSAV - INDIA IN CELEBRATION

This project, curated to mark Scorcelletti's transition to a new artistic language, an artist known for his photographs of the most important international film and fashion stars and winner of the World Press Photo Contest in 2003. Emanuele Scorcelletti's vision, known for capturing the human side of movie and fashion stars, has evolved. This exhibition shows an evanescent journey and nostalgic timelessness, ghostly and light forms evolve in cities crystallised by the years, in sacred places preserved by a millenary faith, in a rural world spared from the frenzy of modernism. Moving images that reveal a dreamlike work like an ode to eternal Italy, like a poem whispered to the wounds of life in which a certain scent of innocence floats.

The exhibition, titled “The Master of Elegance & Allure,” is organised in collaboration with the George Hoyningen-Huene Estate Archives, established in 2020 to preserve the renowned photographer’s legacy, share his work with a wide audience and inspire contemporary photographers and creatives around the world. The platinum palladium prints on display here are prized for their permanence and rich tonal spectrum. Employing metals more precious than gold, the platinum palladium process creates photographs with a lush, matt surface and their tones range from velvety blacks to a myriad of greys and delicate whites. This exhibition coincides with the publication of the new Thames & Hudson book “George Hoyningen-Huene: Photography, Fashion, Film,” further enhancing the celebration of his multifaceted contributions to the realms of photography, fashion and cinema.

Three Wheels, One Vision: India through Tuktuk

In January 2024, a dinner conversation in London sparked an audacious idea: a 3,000-kilometre tuktuk expedition from Rameshwaram in South India to Bhuj in the West. What began as a wild notion quickly transformed into a purposeful adventure—raising awareness and support for Shishukunj International’s mission to improve educational infrastructure in Bhuj.

Over 12 days, Jayu Shah spent nine hours a day navigating India’s vibrant, chaotic roads in tiny three-wheeled tuktuks. The journey was as challenging as it was exhilarating. Locals he met along the way were stunned by our mode of travel, and he was equally stunned by the warmth and curiosity we encountered.

This exhibition captures the spirit of that ride: the slow rhythm of travel, the roadside karak chai, the friendships forged through shared breakdowns and breakthroughs. Most of all, it celebrates the everyday beauty of India—moments glimpsed from the passenger seat and frozen through the lens.

About the photographer

Jayu Shah photographic journey began at age 11, when he received his first camera—a gift that sparked a lifelong passion for capturing fleeting moments. Since then, photography has become his way of celebrating the beauty in the everyday and revealing the quiet simplicity that often escapes notice.

Today, he shoot with his beloved companions: the Leica Q3. The fixed lenses challenge him to slow down, observe more deeply, and compose each frame with intention. Though separated by decades, both cameras share a timeless ability to inspire, reminding him that storytelling through imagery transcends technology.

This collection reflects that ethos—an invitation to see the world not just as it is, but as it feels.

Highrise Urbanscape

Singapore’s compact size of 750 sq km makes vertical growth essential. Since the 1960s, HDB (Housing Development Board) has built high-rise public housing, evolving from 10-storey blocks to today’s 50-storey buildings. Private developers also maximize space with high-rise offices, hotels, and residences. This photo exhibition captures Singapore’s skyline, showcasing towering structures from hotels to residential blocks.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art of Japanese origin that was taught to the Gracie family by Mitsuyo Maeda. Over the decades, the Gracie family further developed and refined the art of Jiu-Jitsu, which would form the foundation of modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that is practised all over the world today. ‘Jū’ in Japanese means ‘gentleness’, and ‘jutsu’ means ‘art’, hence Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also commonly known as ‘the gentle art’, as one can spar with multiple opponents without taking a toll or injury on their bodies. Leica Guild Member, Nicholas takes you on a grit-filled journey to immerse yourselves in the gentle art, through his images.

EXPEDITION MAKGADIKGADI

Expedition Makgadikgadi 2017 is the second part of a trilogy that Roger and myself are doing on Botswana. Expedition Okavango 2016 being the first instalment. Our goal was to document the three distinct habitats of Botswana, into a series of three photobooks, to help people understand and experience the history and complexity of the place through visuals. Once one of Africa’s largest inland lakes, Lake Makgadikgadi dried up around 10,000 years ago, leaving behind a geographically unparalleled collection of salt pans. And one of 4 viable breeding sites for flamingos in Africa.

Let me tell you a secret. What if I were to tell you, deep inside each of us, there lies a hero waiting to be awakened. From the moment we are born, to our dying breath, our hero never leaves us. Sadly, many have gone through life without ever discovering their existence. How does one discover the hero inside of us? Take a moment. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Have you dreamt of being able to fly? Of having superhuman strength? Believing that you could do absolutely anything? These are the dreams and aspirations we had when we were children. No inhibitions. No fear. All it takes is a little nudge. A little willpower. Superheroes walk among us. They are all around us. But they look just like you and me. Look closer. It is not about what is on the surface. They have discovered the hero within. This exhibition features members of the Singapore National Wushu Youth Team. Outwardly, they are just like any other normal, happy kids. However, the moment they don their uniform: beware. The hero within has been revived.
