Leica is proud to present an all-encompassing 7D6N photography workshop tour under the expert guidance of renowned photographer Vineet Vohra. This immersive experience will explore diverse photographic themes such as humanity, street, and architecture. Date & Time:
25th Oct - 31st Oct 2025 (Note that these are rough dates, actual dates TBC)

25th night - Delhi (airport transfer will be arranged depending on flight, check in to hotel, meals not included, own free time)

26th night - Delhi Tour start

27th night - Jaipur

28th night - Varanasi 

29th night - Varanasi 

30th night - Delhi 

31st - Departure (Airport transfer to leave hotel after 2:00pm)

DAY 1- 25th Oct

Participants are to check in at the hotel based on your own timing. This day is a free and easy. *Meals are not included on Day 1

DAY 2- 26th Oct (Night in Delhi)

  • 11:00am - Meet & greet at the hotel
  • 12:30pm - Lunch
  • 3:00pm - Step out to Qutub Minar
  • 7:00pm - Return to the hotel

Qutub Minar is an excellent place for photography. As one of India's most renowned historical landmarks, it presents a variety of photographic opportunities. Here are some shots you can capture at this location: the architectural beauty of its intricate designs, the historical significance that adds depth to your images, the diverse and complementary surrounding structures, and the changing light that provides unique and dynamic perspectives throughout the day.

DAY 3 - 27th Oct (Night in Jaipur)

  • 5:00am - Leave for Jaipur
  • Visit Hawa Mahal - The Palace of the Winds
  • Amber Fort - 1st Level - Jaleb Chowk
  • Indian Stepwell - Panna Meena Ka Kund
  • Jal Mahal
  • City Palace
  • Jantar Mantar
  • Go shopping at Jaipur’s Chandpole Bazaar
  • Head back to the hotel

DAY 4- 28th Oct (Night in Varanasi)

  • 5:00am - flight to Delhi
  • 12:30pm - Take a flight
  • 3:30pm - Leave for Harishchandra ghat to shoot. We will be shooting with the mentor for an estimated 2.5 hours to understand the nuances of street photography.
  • 7:00pm – To reach back to the hotel
  • 7:30pm - Dinner

DAY 5- 29th Oct (Night in Varanasi)

  • 5:00am – To leave hotel for boat ride in Ganges. We will head to Tulsi ghat and photograph the ‘AKHADA’ wrestlers.
  • 8:30am – Return back to the hotel for breakfast
  • 10:30am – Break for everybody to download images and charge their equipment. 
  • 12:30pm - Meet for lunch
  • 2:00pm – To review participant images by the mentor
  • 3:30pm - Leave for Dashaswamedh Ghat to shoot. We will shoot with the mentor for an estimated 2.5hrs to understand composition techniques & capturing fleeting moments
  • 7:00pm – Reach back to hotel
  • 7:30pm - Dinner

DAY 6 - 30th Oct (Night in Delhi)

To have a break in the morning.

  • 11:30am - Take a flight to Delhi
  • 1:00pm - Reach Delhi and get on the transportation
  • 1:30pm - Reach hotel
  • 2:30pm - Leave for old Delhi and shoot around Jama Masjid
  • 7:00pm – To visit globally famous restaurant KARIMS for dinner
  • 8:30pm - Head back to hotel after dinner

DAY 7 - 31st Oct (Departure)

  • 5:30am - Head towards Chandni Chowk. In the heart of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets. This makes it a perfect area for shooting.
  • 11:00 am – Meet for breakfast and have a final submission review *only breakfast provided for Day 7
  • 2:00 pm - Depart to the airport.

Things to note:

  • We will have a briefing leading up to the tour to answer and confirm any enquiries you have.
  • Participants would be required to bring their own cameras—any type is welcomed.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and footwear that are suitable for walking.
  • Bring notebooks or electronic devices for taking notes.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if the minimum number of participants is not met. Should this occur, full refunds will be provided.

Born on 2nd November, 1973, in New Delhi/India with a first class degree fine arts from the prestigious College of Arts, Vineet Vohra is a self-taught photographer and street photography is a passion that he live like a discipline. Although he started shooting as a wild life photographer for two years, Vineet switched to street in 2001 and it instantly became his passion and first nature. As Leica's first ever Indian Ambassador, he had conducted workshops as a Leica Mentor in Leica Akademie, with various publications on Leica blogs. Vineet's works and stories have been published on various prestigious magazines, newspapers & blogs all over the world including National Geographic, NYT, The Guardian U.K. and have been a part of various collective exhibitions in London, New York, Miami, Vietnam, Tel Aviv & India.
