Join professional portrait photographer Ejun Low in his studio as he shares his inspirations and shooting style in a demonstration workshop for the Leica Community here in Singapore, as well as non-Leica users who are keen to learn and try out Leica systems.

Amateur portrait photographers looking to be inspired by Ejun’s expressive portraits can look forward to an interactive session where he shares his favourite lighting setups and mastery of working with every people to create emotive and memorable fine-art portraits.

This class is strictly limited to only 6 participants to ensure a quality experience. 

Topics covered include: 

  • Presentation and inspirations sharing by Ejun Low (30 minutes)
  • Model Study (30 minutes)
  • Shoot Demonstration (1 hour)
  • Practical Hands-on (1 hour)

Who should attend:
This workshop is catered to photographers with an interest in photographing portraits and keen to have a better understanding on how to approach and guide your portrait subject for genuine results. 

Non-Leica users are welcome as there will be a limited selection of Leica gear available for attendees to use. 

Pre-requisites:

This is not a basic photography workshop. All Leica Intermediate workshops requires a fundamental understanding on handling your camera and a familiar understanding on the basics of exposure and focusing. For those whom have never been formally trained in photography or a novice (only using automatic), we strongly suggest a pre-requisite workshop in Photography Fundamentals.

Born in Singapore into a family of entrepreneurs, Ejun started his creative career with the founding of his own design agency in 2005. After some success, he founded Ejun Low Portraits to dedicate more time into his passion for portrait photography. With a background studying visual arts and film, Ejun continues to evolve his craft and share his knowledge through his education programmes with the photographic community.

A committee member with the Photography Professionals Association Singapore (PPAS) and an international award-winning photographer, Ejun is also the founder of Pentaprism, a corporate photography company in Singapore supporting many of the country’s finest brands.
