Childhood faded too quickly for Davide De Martis, but the mesmerising rhythm of his family’s restaurant left a lasting imprint. Surrounded by the sights, smells and stories of food and wine, he was guided by his father, a lifelong sommelier. From him, he learned that wine is a living memory, a principle that inspires his photography. Photography became his way to reclaim the childhood he missed, to hold onto what time takes, making moments last forever.
