Depart on 18 May 2024, 330am. Return on the same day estimated 18 May 2024, 1pm. Duration of workshop is subjective to traffic conditions.
Location: Johore, Malaysia.
Meet up location: Leica Raffles Store (transportation will be provided and will pick up from Raffles store only)
Agenda:
- 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM: Departure to cross and reach Johor Bahru
- 4:45 AM: Toilet break and pit stop to grab last-minute essentials such as water and snacks. Note: Limited toilet facilities available; caution advised due to darkness.
- 5:30 AM: Arrival at destination
- 5:40 AM: On-site briefing and commencement of shoot
- 8:00 AM: Conclusion of the shoot
- 8:30 AM: Breakfast (Bah Kut Teh)
- 10:00 AM: Return to Singapore (depending on traffic conditions)
Note:
Participants are responsible in ensuring that they are available to attend the workshop on the selected period. No cancellation or refund is allowed upon sign up.
Transportation and lunch will be provided. Lunch will be served at a local eatery with native cuisine (Bah Kut Teh). If you have any dietary restrictions, please don't hesitate to contact us beforehand.
Size: Limited to 10 attendees
Minimum 5 attendees to proceed.
If the minimum number of attendees is not met 1 weeks prior to the scheduled departure, the tour may be cancelled. In case of such situation, you will get a full refund.
Fees:
SGD$299 includes transportation and food.
If you wish to refresh or enhance your knowledge of low light photography before attending, you may opt for the bundle package priced at $499 where we will arrange a seperate session before the workshop.
This excursion caters to individuals with intermediate to advanced levels of experience and proficiency. Although participants are welcome to bring other camera brands, the primary emphasis will be on Leica camera systems and maximizing their capabilities. We'll exchange our top tips and tricks, ensuring you extract the utmost potential from this outstanding equipment.
Please remember to bring your passport, camera, raincoat, and an extra pair of clothes. Covered shoes are highly recommended due to the rough terrain, and it is advisable to bring a mask due to the dusty environment. Not advisable for people with respiratory issues or wear white clothing.
*You will be contacted by a Leica Akademie Instructor upon sign up. Kindly inform the instructor if you would like to loan our camera and/or lenses.
