Ever wonder how to create a great video? Join Brian Sio as he shares with you the tips and tricks in making a nice video for social media.

What participants will take away from the workshop:

Getting the settings right
Understand frame rate and shutter speed on how it affects the outcome
Determine your aspect ratio and resolution
Understand Wide Shot, Mid Shot and Close Ups
Compositing in video vs photo
Combining the clip using simple editing software
Exporting to the correct format

Who should apply

Participant who wants to understand the entire filming process and produce simple video from whichever equipment they are using, understand basic compilation of video, but the focus will be more on hands-on filming.

About the Instructor

Born in 1984, Brian Sio graduated from Taylors University in Malaysia, and pursued his Master Degree in Media and Communication at the Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.

Soon after winning the Marc Combes Challenge in France in 2006, Brian started to work as a professional photographer and media producer. He is a pioneer of wedding cinematography and set the trend for a new generation of wedding media producers.

Today, Brian continues to work as a media producer and director of photography. As the creative director of Trigram Media, Brian is involved in a broad range of corporate and commercial projects.

His clients include DBS, OCBC, Singtel, Colgate, Hummel Sport, EcoWorld, SP Seria, Mizuno, Aston Martin, and Bentley, amongst others.
