This exclusive photography tour is designed for all Leica camera owners. You will learn practical skills to enhance your experience with the camera, guided by the award-winning photographer and Leica International Ambassador, Fulvio Bugani.
What to Expect:
Discover the magic of Cuba, the timeless island. This intense 9-day photography tour will bring us to colonial style towns, from Havana to Trinidad, discovering the wonderful lights and colours of Cuba.
The main focus of this tour will be on creating a photo reportage through a personal vision in order to find the most “Surreal Cuba”.
The tour will commence on the night of 22 March 2023, with a briefing and dinner with Fulvio Bugani, and is expected to end on the morning of 30 March 2023.
Participants are expected to
- Arrive at Havana (Cuba) latest by 22nd Mar 23 (Anytime)
- Depart Havana (Cuba) by 30th Mar 23 (after 7pm – local time)

Other Information:
This tour is suitable for all levels of experience and ability. While other cameras are certainly allowed, the focus is on Leica camera systems and learning how to use them to their full potential. Current owners as well as those wanting to try Leica gear out for a week of real shooting are encouraged to attend. We’ll share our favorite tips and tricks so you can get the most out of this exceptional gear.

Fulvio Bugani
Fulvio Bugani was born in Bologna in 1974. He started working as a photographer in 1995. After a close collaboration with major photo studios of Bologna, he founded his own studio in 1999 – Foto Image.
Fulvio Bugani has been a freelance professional photographer for over 20 years, working with associations and NGOs. He actively collaborates with MSF (Medecins Sans Frontier) and Amnesty International, for which he has participated in several projects on human rights, illegal immigration and the right to housing.
His work has been published on international magazines and websites like TIME LightBox, LFI – Leica Fotografie International, The Guardian, Marie Claire, Playboy and Cubadebate.
Among other recognitions, in 2015 he was awarded at the World Press Photo, for his work about Indonesian Transgender. While in 2016 his reportage about Cuba was selected as one of the 12 finalists at the Leica Oskar Barnack Award. He has been chosen by Leica as its International Leica Ambassador for the new Leica M10 in 2017 and for the new Leica Q2 in 2019, and has worked for important international brand and artists like Juventus, Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari, Universal Music.
Fulvio has been traveling in Cuba for more than 14 years with vast knowledge about the island and close connections with locals.
